THE BOSTON SHERATON HOTEL
Located in the Back Bay neighborhood near the Charles River, the Sheraton Boston hotel is surrounded by restaurants and tourist destinations in downtown Boston.
GETTING TO BOSTON
Boston is served by Boston Logan International Airport as well as three Amtrak stations, including the Back Bay Station, which is a 15 minute walk to the Boston Sheraton.

Logan Express Back Bay: Cheapest Option
It is free to travel from Boston Logan to the Boston Sheraton via the Logan Express Back Bay, available at all airport terminals, 6AM-10PM. Exit the bus at 800 Boylston Street in front of the Prudential Center. It is a 30 minute ride followed by a 5-minute walk to the hotel. These buses are wheelchair accessible.
The return to Logan costs $3. Buy tickets in advance, and be sure to take advantage of the “Ticket to Skip” (see link above) which allows you to jump to the front of the security line at the airport. Buses run 5AM-9PM.
Subway: After Hours Option
If you arrive after 10PM, the subway runs until 12AM. Use a credit card or phone to “Tap and Ride” or purchase a CharlieCard at a fare vending machine.
Logan Airport is served by the Blue Line and the Silver Line (a bus that operates like a subway by using dedicated lanes and tunnels).
Blue Line: Take the Route 88 shuttle from the terminal to Airport Station. Take the Blue Line to Government Center. Transfer to the Green Line. Exit at Hynes Convention Center or Prudential.
Silver Line: Take SL1 to South Station. Transfer to Red Line and ride to Park Street. Transfer to Green Line and exit at Hynes Convention Center or Prudential.

Water Ferry: Scenic Option
If you’re looking for a scenic route, have time to spare, and don’t mind some complexity and cost, consider taking the Water Ferry. Download the MBTA mTicket app and purchase a ticket from Logan to Long Wharf in advance.The fare is $9.75. Take the Route 66 shuttle from any terminal to the Water Transportation Dock. Get off at Long Wharf. Walk 5 minutes to the subway station. Take the Blue Line to Government. Transfer to the Green Line and take it to Hynes Convention Center or Prudential. Walk 5 minutes to the hotel. The ferry ride itself is about 10 minutes, but allow at least 60-90 minutes to complete this journey.
Taxi and Ride Share: Late Night Option
Taxi or Uber/Lyft fares from Logan to downtown run between $25 and $50.
GETTING AROUND BOSTON
The cheapest way to get around Boston is via the “T” (aka the subway), the Silver Line, and buses. The Silver Line is a bus that travels more like a subway by using dedicated lanes and tunnels.
A single ride is $2.40. Tap a credit card or phone to pay. To use cash, purchase and load a CharlieCard at a fare vending machine in any station. There are day ($11) and week ($22.50) passes available at the vending machines.
The Sheraton is served by the Green Line, which can be accessed via Hynes Convention Center Station (B, C, D) or Prudential Station (E). Pay attention to whether you are on a B, C, D, or E train on the Green Line. Each has a different route.
